Welcome to Cape Fear FarmLife
Welcome to our Cape Fear FarmLife! From the old control tower (left over from the old rock quarry days), to the peaceful banks of the Cape Fear River, and everything in between, we are blessed! You are invited to walk with me through the green pastures as I check on the sheep, and to ride along as we traverse the trails along the river on horseback. Come help us out as we deliver triplet lambs, or nurse an orphan calf back to health. Grab a paddle and jump in a kayak for an exciting ride through the rapids on the river, or we may decide on a more peaceful paddle on one of the lakes, but be prepared… No matter what we do on this farm, GOD SPEAKS. It may be through tears as we loose an animal to sickness, or through laughter as we watch a kid goat showing off, but no matter the heartache, or the triumph, GOD IS GOOD!
Life lessons abound and spiritual blessing are poured out here, as God makes His presence known in the weekly devotions that I call “Pasture Parables”. So join us! We can’t wait to share our Cape Fear FarmLife with you!

About the Blog
I started this blog as a way to share our everyday life on the farm with others. In the Blog posts, you’ll find beautiful farmscapes, you’ll hear stories about our guardian dogs, you may get updates on precious new “Farm Kids” that are born, you’ll see what is cooking in the “Scale House” (our repurposed weigh station that is our home away from home), or you will hear how God speaks to our hearts in our weekly “Pasture Parables”.
